I think you're better off keeping the crappy paint job. Your engine bay wont match any longer if you do Herculiner.

Yeah, that's my opinion. And opinions are like...
On a practical note, bedliner stuff pretty much means you can never paint the car again with anything else. Ever. So you'd better be absolutely in love with what you wind up with, and figure on never selling the car as only a handful of people will be in love with that look.
Roller paint jobs I have no problem with. ;)
i could most likely part the car out for more than what i paid for it:D

he's using duplicolor rattle cans. i have used it in the past. the weight is really not an issue. you can do a whole car with on can of liner. as far as my paint goes, it's pretty bad. the last owner let the car sit under a pine tree. it has spots all over, scratches and a couple rust spots. ill post pics when i start :)

I think it will look awesome! We used Herculiner in the "bed" of the E30 trailer, much cheaper than the quotes I got to have to sprayed with bed liner!

That looks horrible. How bad is your paint that bumpy textured clumpy bedliner is an improvement? I find it very hard to believe that it weighs the same as paint.

edit: Posted before the above pics. How did the Subaru guy get it without all the texture? Looks way better that way.
