    Soda Blasting, Who here has used it?

    Im thinking about retro fitting my current abrasive blaster into a soda blaster. has anyone here used one? Pros, Cons..

    I have seen the process and it is a much better process than sand. Non corrosive no etching and if it gets in the cracks it does not amount to anything. Unlike stripping this is easy environmentaly sound (hippies approved) and hard to mess up.

      try media blasting, with recycled materials,

      You can even blast the paint off with out damaging chrome!

          I worked in a soda blasting place for almost a year. soda blasting rules, although the media is rather expensive and not reuseable. it will strip everything down to the metal but it will not warp it, heat it up, or leave any marks at all. you have to remember though soda does not remove rust at all.

          lmk if you have any other questions, ive blasted a lot of stuff with all diffrent kinds of media. calcium, crushed glass, slag, ect...
