Door Lock Cylinder - Left

Hello,
New member here. I'm working on cleaning up a slightly neglected 325is and am having a hard time finding one needed part: a new lock cylinder for the drivers side door. I believe the part number is 51211924903, or 're-build' part number 51219061343, but I've been unable to find either available online. I am hoping someone here may have another suggested source for this part? I'd be fine with a used replacement lock cylinder as well. Thank you!

pelican lists it as available. can't find anyone else at the moment. i added one to my cart, we'll see if it actually ships.

Thank you to sna77 for sending the Ebay link; I purchased it yesterday and fingers crossed it ships today. I'm not sure how I didn't find that listing before. Thanks again!

oh no .. ! they confirmed my order. let's see if it plays out. i got the rebuild kit to be clear. there's no hope of a key and cylinder ever again i'm sure.

.. yep. quick check at pelican shows rebuild kit still available. get it now as it seems to be disappearing soon too.

well pelican fucked up. opened my email to find they had cancelled the door lock kit. now i'm scrambling to cancel the rest of the order as the shipping is now more than the parts.

82eye: exact same thing happened to me with Pelican when I tried to order the door lock kit; to their credit, I emailed and they quickly canceled the rest of my order.

they may do another run of them. everyone i talked to listed it out of stock, not nla. if they change the listing we're screwed.

ok - i tried a re-order. pelican is listing the kit available again, whether it really is and ships is another thing. i left a msg to contact or hold the rest of the order if the kit is not available.


edit : pelican lists the kit at ~ $74. does anyone have a handle on pricing elsewhere for comparison?


more edit : yeah pelican fucked up. they insist it is available until you order. pretty sure they are losing me as a client. our 2 bmws and 2 vws are gonna start looking elsewhere.
