    Rear bumper shocks stuck

I’m working on replacing my DBs with plastic bumpers and started to disassemble the rear. I’ve got all the plastic parts off and have removed the nuts from all four bolts attaching the bumper shocks. However, the bumper shocks won’t release. I tried wedging a screwdriver between the shock and the body to free it up, but no luck. Any other ideas? I’ve tried banging on everything with a mallet.

Iirc, there's a bolt mounting the rear of the shock. I think it's accessed under the car or in the trunk.
