    Broken sunroof

Hey guys my sunroof broke in the closed position. It makes a horrible noise when you try to tilt it or open it. What would be the easiest way to fix it? (i do have another sunroof i just need to swap them. But i have no idea how to do this. Will i have to take the headliner out? And if i do that will i have to take the glass out? thanks guys.

To remove the sunroof panel (which I don't think is your problem), you open it like halfway. Then pull the front of the headliner piece down, and it will unclip. Slide that back into the roof and you can access the 6 mounting bolts.

      Is it a power sunroof?

Isn't it possible to open power sunroofs manually somehow?

yes, with a crank that should be in the tool kit. you pop off the black cover next to the switch and start cranking.

if he's got a horrible noise and the roof refuses to move, i'd bet its the cables... which means manually cranking it wont do anything.
