    Rear aprons/skirts ...

I am looking for a rear apron for xmas this year from my parents. I have an 87 w/ the big bumpers of course. So I was looking at the Racing Dynamics one. I saw it few times and liked it. When I saw it on Fred Kim's car it looked like it was a little big. Are there any other options for alum. bumper car? And I read on roadfly that you can't tuck the bumpers in with the Racing Dynamics skirt. True or false?

    thanks guys

And is this the racing dynamics skirt, or what is it:

Well, if it were me I would just use the $ to get a set of euro bumpers. But as far as the rear skirts go, the zender looks the best in my opinion. The RD one is pretty cool too. It looks like the skirt wil hang out if you tuck the rear bumper.

Are there any that are just like the IS rear skirt on 88+ E30's? If I ever get a rear skirt, I want it to look as similar to the IS side skirts I was as possible. The RD rear skirt looks a bit too large for my tastes. (the one on Fred's car that is: http://www.strictlyeta.net/pictures/...downtown04.jpg) Looks awesome on his car, but I don't think it would look as good with mismatched sideskirts.

That one above looks pretty good.

that guy was on BEN, dunno if he still posts or not.

The RD wont work with tucked bumpers because it screws into the bumper. I like it better with the Euro bumpers than the US ones. It was techincally designed for the plastic ones.

I think that one pictured is a BMPD one.
                  Im now E30less.

Damn, you are right. And I dont want a glass one. Some nice plastic would be nice.

Any other options other than RD? Is Zender plastic? and anyone know a price range?

Sure could tuck it, you'd just have to drill new holes for it to mount.
                              Pretty DIY.
