    Interior, Suspension, Wheels......

Should I redo my interior or do my suspension and wheels first?

I'm choosing whether I should redo my interior in black with Alcantara and black carpet or do my suspension with Koni's and IE stage 3, then later on new wheels.

I'm not unhappy with the look and feel of my stock suspension, but I am gonna do it sooner or later. My interior on the other hand is grey (I want black) and the seats are not in great condition. The drivers seat is torn in 2 places and there are worn spots on the carpet.

Let me know what you guys think.

Personally, i'm all go before show. My paint is shit, all my leather is half torn to shit, but the car has a strong engine, soon to be 5 speed, and i'm going to replace suspension parts before i do wheels and interior.

Yeah, really does come down to what you want. I'd personally suggest suspension first.

Well you already have a sport interior. It may be ripped up a bit but as long as its not horrible then I would do the suspension first.

Another thing I should probably add about the interior is that I am going to have a friends parents (retired apholstorers) do it. They are going to do it for rather cheap. I gotta get info to them, then I will get a price quote to even see if the interior is an option right now. This is one reason why I am leaning towards show before go this time. I wanna get it done while I have the chance for them to do it.

My dad is a retired upholstorer, and when he does his projects for me and my brothers he seems to take his time because its not top priority. He also doesnt really like to work on my friends stuff, because they all think they are going to get like a hole interior done for next to nothing. So i dont know how well you know your friends dad, but i wouldnt expect a hole interior for very very cheap. Hes gota make some profit on it. Lots of tedious work goes into that kind of work.

I'd say suspenion. but if you come across a Mtech1 kit for under 500
(more like 300 in the long run) like I did then I would get that first ;)

What Im saying is. Plan to do your suspenion first. But if you come across something that is a once in a lifetime deal on seats or w/e, get it! You'll regreat it in the long run.

Suspension is the first big change in appearence for the E30. Do it first.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

I completely agree, I should have done this first. I bought smoked everything and M-Tech II pieces and more, but I definitely needed suspension first.

OK, sounds like suspension is the thing to do (unless once in a lifetime interior deal comes along). Should I do Koni's w/ IE stage 3 or go H&R cup kit? They both cost about the same.

Hmmm, you're comparing suspensions setups that are COMPLETE opposites. Both slam the car, but the ride comfort and body roll are SIGNIFICANTLY different between the two.

differences please? i prefer less body roll to comfort.
