    Hahaha i remember you bro, i was at the picnic . and also im just remembering you were trying to sell me that getrag haha. i just cut the top a bit so it would sit flush and would be clear from the foglight screws. its actually fairly easy.

    unfortunately i only took one picture of the fab work, but maybe you can get the idea. i used a table saw and 'carefully' split the lip lengthwise, just above the middle tabs as pictured. i used the tabs as anchors and mounted the 'volvo' lip onto the 'i' lip with zip ties. i drilled smaller anchor holes on the insides of the two lips to make sure they were at least snug to each other. i popped out the mounting clips from the valence and drilled matching holes into the lip and ziptied the lip to the valence. pretty simple...just takes a lot of patience.
