Can't get over the rear arches. Every late model dropped on IE3's looks like shit, even the HR races don't look that good on late models.

Even if the car's not dropped it just looks odd the way it sits. Especially when eyeing the flow of the body lines. How the rear arch is a good 6-7 inches below that top body line and in the front it's pretty much touching it. Looks goofy.

But yeah I'd take a late model right now in a heartbeat.

There's nothing wrong with late model tails. Most early cars I see aren't low enough to look good with their high arches anyways. You just need to set your car up right.

Never been a fan of rear fogs at all, it just looks like you're riding your brakes.

Never understood why people would ride around with them on (unless it's foggy). Some cars only have a rear fog on one side and people still drive with it on.

yeah, i've got a 2005 volvo xc70 that's got one rear fog. it looks stupid. it looks like the car has bad 80s vw electronics or something.

i couldn't believe there was only one, and before using the google-ater to confirm that's really how it supposed to be, i had a heated discussion with the dealer about how they wouldn't fix it. i was an ass, but i'm not apologizing. they're a dealer. i'm sure they deserved it for some other past sins.

i never thought rear fogs were worth a damn before i lived in the pnw. 80mph on super slick half concrete i-5, when cars are spraying so hard and visibility sucks, but everyone's still tailgating. yeah, it would probably a good idea to have your ass end blink like a f'ing xmas tree.

Naw, they are actually pretty useful on the freeway in crap weather. I used them for storms, and when leading as to allow people to see me at great distances.

You guys are just inside the box. Its cool, just boring. ;)

i like my early models, and rear fogs. i don't have 'em right now, but they come in handy in shitty weather. they also work well for getting tailgaters off your ass.

i love my diving boards, the plastic bumpers defiantly look more modern, but if you make the diving boards all black and tuck em, should look badass

I still stand by wanting a late model. Early tails and lack of valence are so meh.

I have a 87 (early) and 90 (late). For different reasons I like them both.

Early arches look better with 8x17's and 225-235 rears and 215 fronts. HR Sports at a min. HR races or coils make them almost too sexy. I actually like the mudflaps on the early arches on the rear. Makes not having a rear valance tolerable. Rear tails? I dunno. The big ole bastards do grow on you but, eh.

I havent tucked my DBs but being as my iS is Schwarz, Im thinking of tucking and painting them black.

Late PB's with eurotrim and eurogrills are very hot IMHO. I do see what everone says about the rear arches, and you really cant run anything too wide in the rear without excess neg camber, but the squatting dog look is something I actually kinda like in it's own way. Late tails with a plate filler look more modern and sleeker than the early tails and I like that look. If you run 205x7.5, or 8's on teh rear with a decent drop the "tuck" looks pretty sick. You just cant drop too low or you get the off balance look.

Eh.. I like them both. Either beats the living shit our of an Accord, right?
