^alright cool. I still have diving boards but it's an 88. I plan on plastics eventually but I would imagine the steps are the same.

They are actually very different, You need to cut away 4 parts of the valance.

Since plastics are bigger than euros, you need to move the valance down a little bit, so you have to cut off the areas the frame rails go into. Then you need to cut where the plastic bumper sliders go on either side. Your stock sheet metal valance needs to be cut up also to give you a solid mouting area. Remove the metal one and cut off the bottom half (there is a seam with small spot welds you have to grind off)

When you get ready to mount it, send me a pm and I will give you my phone number so I can walk you through the steps.

I will also make a MS paint drawing of what parts need to be cut off.

You need to remove the red parts off both sides.

Hmm, thats a good bit of work. I may try it though. The only thing I am worried about is that on the early models there was the tow hooks in those little squares and I think it may look odd without anything there.

It doesnt look bad with no hooks in there. You could always weld in the early hooks

I had one on my black 318is but it required lots of modification to the bumper skin and core.

                looked sweet though!

Insted of doing all that cutting of the bottom of the bumper I just mounted mine a little bit further down and cut the frame rail holes out of it.

That looks really good, well worth the effort.
