This is what I'm talking about. The grill on the right is partailly blocked off. I don't see why they would block it. With or without A/C, I don't see how extra airflow is going to hurt anything.
Well, since nobody is smart enough to figure this out, on the driver side grill, those block offs are not in front of the radiator. Those block off are actually in fact to stop air from traveling through the headlights into the engine bay creating lift and more air under the car. There are plastic pieces actually to the left and right of the radiator that "click" into the back of the grill to block similiar air flow.
