    A/F ratio gauge

I'm interested in the SMT6 for my tuning needs. I think that an A/F ratio gauge would therefore be appropriate.

Would someone conclude that running SMT6 would be grounds enough for a gauge, or would it be ricer?

This is the double-pod, I'm interested in the single one. Is the single a good pod for $20? or should I opt for a double-gauge pod.....with what other gauge?? (I'll be running raised CR NA 2.5 hopefully.)

Does anyone know of the gauges that would light up amber/red? I want it to match my dash lights.

    Thanks

    $50, sweet. "Accuracy displays 14.7 : 1 Stoichiometric Air : Fuel Ratio."

Maybe a fuel pressure gauge would be good? Or maybe just the single.

An A/F gauge is like is pretty much useless for tuning. You'll need a wide band oxygen sensor, they run about $500-1,000.

So it wouldn't help it keep it within my sight to see if the A/F is off when driving. With the SMT6, I could tune it to where I thought it was good, and have the gauge going when driving to make sure everything is cool. :?:

If that wouldn't benefit really.....fuck it. Then I won't get one.

        thanks

No, its basically useless. If you are going to do the tuning for the SMT-6 yourself, you basically need a wide band anyways. Or else, pay a dyno shop to tune it for you.

An air fuel ratio guage can be a nice tool but can't be used for Find tuning, but it will let you know if your engine is running way lean or way rich then that way you can go to a dyno and fine tune it. I've got one on my car and it has been helpfull, you can't fully depend on it but it's like the Oil level light it lets you know something is wrong but not how bad it is.

Yeah, that's what I was looking for. I just wanted a gauge that would show if there was a major problem or adjustment I had to deal with. I don't expect to use the A/F gauge to tune it.....that's just be silly.

Ya i'd deffinatly buy one if your doing any mods to the engine, that way if you get in and go for a drive and it's running full lean you know right then and there to get home and not to drive it till the problem is fixed as to avoid engine damage.

                  thanks rs4pro3! :D

any recommendations for companies or products? I don't neccessarily need a gauge pod, a little horizontal bar with LED's would do or whatnot.

Im running same gauge as in picture but I paid $30 from Summit Racing and I think it had free shipping.

Works good, not bad for the price.
