After I had my car painted I replaced the old discolored tint with new tint. This is the lightest I could get from the tinting shop.

I want to say 15%, but I'm not 100% sure considering I actually bought it with that tint from an older guy that brought his BMWs to a shop I used to work at.

In AL where we have very lax vehicle laws and no inspection I have 20% all around. I like it. It keeps my interior from fading (cloth) and keeps it cooler in the heat of the summer.

That's mine with tint. I also have an E34 wagon without tint. The tint helps, bud. Especially in Florida heat.

I love tint. It's in my list of things to get done. But, I have an eyeball that doesn't adjust to light as fast as it should so, it's mostly a safety thing. And, I hate how hot the fucking sun is when it's ALWAYS on my side of the car...

In the south where I am it is almost a no choice thing. You have to have it done of your car sits outside for any time at all. Cuts the heat in side the car in the summer, and saves the on the interior. A lot of cars here now come with factory tint that is dark to the legal limit.

.. I have always done 20%, cops around here have tint, sometimes darker than mine:hitler:... but helps out when driving far to work..

    Car must be clean though.

Tints in Jersey is kinda iffy, some cars get away with it for ever and some dont. If you get caught driving stupid or speeding, you will for sure get a tint ticket. Then its required removal time.
I love checking out bitches at stop lights. I'm in jersey. They tell me to take it off all the time but I never do. The tickets to me are like paying the cable bill. You want to have tint? Then you gotta pay

I love tinted windows, have had them on every car so far except the E30. For now I'm rolling fishbowl but it'll get 20% all around soon. <3 lax tint laws in Indiana

if your worried about your interior condition or heat, I honestly think getting a high end windshield sunshade does more protection against both things than actual tint itself

the rear defroster lines are a bitch. had to use ammonia in garbage bags for this one. simply pulling them or cutting them away instantly destroys the defroster lines
