Not bad Mtriple.
I'm not a fan of tinting the e30. I think dark tint on it looks weird because the body style of the car/windows. If it had more curvature, I think it would look nice. But no tint makes the car look clean (or light tint).Leave a comment:

I like window tint. But I think it looks really good on e30 verts. because it matches the soft top.Leave a comment:

I went with 38 platinum plus and its hard to get a gauge of the darkness so here are a few pics.

Considering tinting my car once I get all the body work finished for the summer time. With no A/C and a black interior I really dont want it to be like last summer. Im a little concerned about alpine white with tint, kinda a wierd combo. I hate the look where just the back windows are tinted to comply with the law, i would have to do the front and they would have to be even. I wish I could do it dark enough so you couldnt see in but I cant afford the tickets.Leave a comment:

I have 35%, and I would say that if it was legal, I would throw 20% on there.
No darker than that; I like to be able to see more than headlights at night.
I drive like too much of an asshole and need to be able to see.
What I can't stand is the people with like 5% on the back window and rear windows, then 35% on the front windows. Either all the way, or nothing.
I am super picky about the shop that does it, though. They haven't done me wrong yet...

20% all around (minus the windshield of course) and I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't stand a car without tinted windows...it protects the interior, people can't see in whether your driving or stopped, and to me it looks better.
I've been hassled quite a few times by local cops, but NEVER a state trooper (be it NJ or PA), but it definitely pays to have a PBA/FOP card in your wallet.Leave a comment:
