Absolutely hated mine, Fishbowl status. Took me a day or two to remove it. It wasn't that bad but i am still unsure if my rear defroster works anymore.

Driving with tint is awesome during the day..no sun light...At night it can be a bit dark...but its fine if you look more then half a second...I like being able to do what you want, laugh as retarded as you want, or check out the girl next to you at the light without having to worry about anything...

    Car must be clean though.

Tints in Jersey is kinda iffy, some cars get away with it for ever and some dont. If you get caught driving stupid or speeding, you will for sure get a tint ticket. Then its required removal time.

I'm a fan of tint, especially coming from texas. I had to take it off my e36 for inspection shit but I'm putting 35% back on specifically for heat reduction, and the bostongrun e36 looks better with darker windows.

I loved having 15% and 5% on my alpine 4dr e30. I like the look but it's not for everyone.

    Generally for it..

..but usually, I'm so drunk by the time I get behind the wheel - that I just don't want to give cops any more reason to pull me over.

If the car is a daily and and the sun is an issue than i would say i'm for it. I had very dark tints on my second car and had trouble seeing at night. For now i just fish bowl it. Plus the cops will pull you over and issue a ticket for anything over NY's limit which is pretty much nothing...

If I still had leather interior I would do a light smoked tint with a good film to block out the sun. Doesn't have to be dark like in the old days. Showing off interior is cool and all but not after the sun fades your cloth and shrinks up your leather. Especially in the desert.

I think It's hideous on E30's, other cars it's quite nice. There's nothing like looking at a clean shell and upon closer inspection be double pleasured by a clean interior.
too bad it;s required in texas.

mine are tinted... i'm in california.
i have a zinno and i think it looks good on zinno's. but if i had an alpine or many other colors i think i would desire no tint.

In the city it's a pity 'cause you just can't hide.
Tinted windows don't mean nothin', they know who's inside!
