    Got another fix it ticket

Once again for incorrect front plate mounting (IE they don't like it mounted on the sun shade).

So my question, how the hell can I make a US plate look decent on a euro bumper?

I was thinking about getting some nice thick plastic (IE splitter style) and making an adapter that takes the stock euro plate holes and adapts it to a US plate.

I'm not sure how good it will look, althogh to be honest i'm starting to not care, because I really would like to drive my car for once and not get pulled over.

LMAO, I've never been pulled over or even looked at twice for no front plate ;)

Adapter would work, but it'll still look like ass :?

Do what matt325is did, cut it down enough to fit inside the euro plate frame in front of the euro plate

just mount the damn thing. here in germany us americans all have the choice of euro size, or american size. It just mounts like normal and looks the same as a german plate just a little shorter on the sides.

create an adapter bracket so it mounts to the euro plate holes, then attach the plate to the adapter

            Below the radar...

3 days with increasingly fine wetsanding and it came out nice and glassy.

However, it still needs to be repainted. There is still shit in the paint, looks to be air bubble. Really only noticeable from 2-3'.... but its not cool.

Oh well, at least now its all one consistency. It just always looks dusty.

Update, I got the ticket dropped as the officer misquoted the law.

it must be seen from teh front of the car, nowhere does it say bumper.

I actually called and spoke with the officer for about 30 min and we both agreed that if it can be centered more I should be okay.

So I mounted it in the windshield, centerd behind the mirror.

Will see how long that lasts, as I don't want a US front plate on my bumper

you should be able to cut it down too so it doesn't block your window. you only need to have the #'s and washington state shown, everything else can go away..
