I have a 85 318i . I was wondering if there was a way that i could buy parts for a 325i i have no idea what year. Take those parts like suspension, etc. and put them on my 318 because there isnt to amny aftermarket parts for the damn thing.

yes, you can swap struts, brakes, trailing arms etc. from any 325 (I think 86+ is what you want).
I don't think you can easily swap ABS, but you can do everything else easy enough. -
If it isn't already put a manual box in there, 6cyl one wont fit so you have to find one from another early 318i
Dunno about ABS but everything else bolts on. First thing to do is sway bars, you car probably wont even have a rear one. After that try and get some disc brakes for the back, much better braking and pad selection. If you find some bigger struts you could put those on but there just a bit tougher.
Most of the body is the same other than some extras that the flasher ones had, like shadowline, colourcode mirrors, little spoilers/lips etc.
Dunno how the US ones are spec'd but if your car has non-electric mirrors, sunroof, windows etc just leave them manual. Not worth the trouble and just more weight. I do recommend remote locking though, so good.
Don't even think about about spending money on that engine. Putting a 6cyl in there will be just as cheap as anything that will give a noticeable gain.
