Poll -- Side repeaters on an M-tech II, yay or nay?

I'm considering adding side repeaters to my m-tech II sedan for safety reasons. I also think they look pretty good. Some may beg to differ. Installing them means cutting into my sheet metal, so there's no turning back. What do think?

BTW, if I get them, they will be smoked like the rest of my lights

I like it. I think it breaks the panel up visually and looks good

not a fan myself. The car looks cleaner without them. If safety is your main reason then I guess do it but I don't see how they are gonna be such a huge benefit for safety.

Makes turn signals visible when your looking at the front half of the car in profile. The front turns are only visible when looking head on w/ the car, not from the sides.

I think it looks better w/ them as well.

I think it looks more clean without them. I do like safety though. Are they Original equipment by chance? I didn't think they were but you all would know that better than my self.

not against them but voted no

Without. It's just so much cleaner.

There are really 2 issues. Safety or looks.

I can't find a picture of an m-tech II sedan that has them

How about some late model e36 ones? They are less bulky.
Or put in bumper ones like the stock US mtech 2s.

my car here in Aus has them, its a euro model but i think they fit them as standard for roadworthy reasons when they released them in this market.

if you are adding them aftermarket, i would consider looking around and finding some that are sleeker. the factory ones are quite bulky with the black plastic housing. since you are going to cut to fit, you could find some tidier ones from some other vehicle like just small rectangular smoked ones or something

I agree that the e30 repeaters are too big. Any pics of an e30 with e36 repeaters? What do think about these?

Keep it clean, don't add the light. Hows a little light that low to the ground gonna give you any safety?

Why not add the bumper strip that has the side repeaters there instead of on the fender? The E36 side markers don't complement the body lines as well in my opinion.
