Euro trim doesn't have the holes for the sidemarkers.

A lot cleaner look, but at a price of $100+ there are other things that should come first.

IMO, I think it's kind of a waste. Yeah, it does look cleaner. But there's a reason for those side markers. It's so bad drivers can see when you're changing lanes from the side. My front sidemarkers are inoperable. There have been a couple of instances where I about got pegged on the side, but probably would not have been any confusion if they had seen a blinker.

It's a lot of money but its also an opportunity to replace your ugly faded grey bumper trim with brand new pieces.

If they need replacing then go with the euro, but until then wait.

Not true. The sidemarker don't even blink when your turn signals are on. You can modify them to work like that, but they don't come stock like that.

Also with just the front and rear signals, there is no angle of view that will not show a signal, the rear lights bend around the edge so you can see them from the side as well.

The rear ones don't blink, but the front ones are supposed to, aren't they? I think those are the important ones.
Here's a scenario where I think you should have them...Say you're driving on a 3 lane interstate in the left most lane, and merging to the middle lane. You've got a car in the right lane, and the front of your car is half a carlength ahead of him. He can't see your rear blinker, so how's he going to know you're merging?

i agree that it makes sense for them to blink... but they don't.

the side signals are there cause i believe it is a law that you have to have a light on the side of the car....as the e30 doesn't have lights that wrap around to the side of the car they added those lights....all they are are side lights to show that the car is there....i think it looks WAY better to have the euro trim because it cleans up the side and doesn't make the car look more busy....the only problem is finding the trim. btw why aren't euro spec grills on u.s. cars? something about the light being covered maybe?
