    putting rear window back in

    what would be the best method of doing this... the molding is no longer attached and the window is loose and free.... the pop rivits have been busted not drilled ... i was going to use some jb weld for that part any tips tricks or ideas

    Pop rivets? What E30 are you talking about?

      i have a 318i and the frame to the window was pop riveted not the rubber piece around the window the metal piece that goes outside of that...

        Ok I believe you are talking about the 2 rear side windows that popout? Correct? and not the actual Rear windshield? If so go to the Main page of r3v, not the forum but the actual site. and under the Tech article section Jordan has a section about painting the trim around those windows and I belive he talked about tearing them down.

              I removed both my quarter glasses to shadowline my trim just a couple months back so if you need any help, hit me up, I can try to step you through it. I have a 1990 325is, not sure what you have, so they could be different.
