I know Lukas did it, as did others.....but I was just listening to:

i woudl go to 88+ bumpers but that would probably cost more then the bmp kit and it geting fitted!

I dunno the facts. You two can sort it out.

I think the stock 89+ is tight with an I/C. That's why I posted a pic of Matt325is's car! :D

You are right, but if you are smart and patient it can be DYI, which means it not as much as fitting a GTS kit or something...

Well....

Speaking from experience, I've fitted both the GTS kit and the plastic bumpers to my car.

The GTS kit was cake compared to plastic bumpers, most of the GTS hassle was trimming and braket making.

Figure 20-25 hours of labor.

so lets say 20 since they are professionals.

20hrs x $65/hr = 1300

Add to that cost of the bumpers, valance, lip, wiring etc ($500ish)

Bolting plastic bumps to the 88 is just a bolt on, line up, tighten down affair.
