    Engine bay wire tuck

I'm not really sure if this is where I should post this so feel free to move it. I recently had to pull the wiring harness on my m20 and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on tucking when I put it back in... I wanted to tuck as many wires as possible in this rebuild. How would I go about doing that?
    Thanks!

I don't know if you can due to the nature of the length and how it is routed. What you might want to try however is getting some wire corrugated loom like you see on newer cars. easy to rap the harness with this and it makes it look much neater.

I was hoping to be able to do something more of a tuck but I guess from what you're saying its not really possible with the e30. I'll just have yo wrap like you said.
          Thanks

Hiding all the wires that run up the sides of the engine bay is not that rough, but you will have to extend them all

Josh and I talked about running the wires in his car on the inside of the fender. Like Luke said, it isn't that hard, but you would need to extend just about everything.

Here is how his turned out pretty much:

We ended up routing the ABS wire on the left underneath instead of where it is there, and then all the wiring on the right Josh wrapped up and mounted high up under the fender lip so you just about can't see any of it.

I still want to extend/reroute that ABS sensor wire on the driver's side that runs down the wheel well, it sticks out to me even more now that the other one is gone.

You can see in this pic the only remaining wiring left on the driver's side, up against the underside of the engine bay/fender lip. I would still like to run it inside the fender at some point, but everything will have to be extended.

                      I think that's a shielded wire isn't it?

Didn't look to be when I spliced a new connector on the other side. It was just two wires in an outer jacket. Kind of looked like speaker wire. lol

You don't drive that thing in the rain anyways, delete the abs and you won't have to worry about the abs wires. I'm starting to think I might go that direction. Got me eye on a sexy tilton proportioning valve...
