    front euro plate on diving boards

    i just picked up a front euro plate, including the holder. But it doesn't really fit well, like it needs some spacers or something to clear the the bumper trim which sticks out. I got it on there and it looks great, but it is not very secure, and i'm afraid it's going to fall off on the freeway or something. I know you have one on your eta, euro88.

    could somebody tell me how it should fit, what size screws i need, etc. I'm too lazy to fiddle around with it and figure it out myself.

    Back when I had diving boards, I put a few washers in on each side. Worked fine.

      i cut my plate holder in half, and screwed it in w/ the backing plate. :shrugs:

        There is a BMW filler plate to fill the gap in the center of the trim. If you got this, then you would have a flat piece of plastic to mount the frame to.

          The plate holder I have has numerous holes in back I used Zip ties through the holes into this hole in my bumper:
