Jordan has them on his car, you basically just need to shorten them, make new end caps, and create custom mounting brackets.

Its a little bit more involved in that, and takes a good deal of craftsmanship and fabrication skills, but that about sums it up.

        Jordan,

Given this guys post asking if it had ever been done, I doubt very much that he is copying your idea. Looks like he came up with it on his own. :D

It is a nice look - would've thought you'd be flattered by someone doing the same to their car!

It is cool to be unique.

unique is impossible with e30's, it isn't anything like ricers but there are so many people out there modding theirs e30's you have to go very extreme to be unique. Sorry jordan but i dont think your car is very unique wouldn't worry about someone else putting e36 skirts on. Dont get me wrong i like your car and you have done some awesome stuff with it.

There is also a line to be drawn and not crossed, because sometimes people try to hard to be unique when all they are really doing is being stupid. for example...ricers, punk kids that dress in ALL black ect...

There are varying levels of unique... I was possibly the first person in NA with the Rieger Infinity I lip, I have a set of rims that basically nobody else has, I have a suspension kit not sold in NA.

A lot of uniqueness is lost of course. I was one of the first to do all-red tails, blacked out my kidneys when it wasn't cool, one of the first to do clear side markers.

i think most any modded e30 is unique... even looking at this board, i dont think there are two modded cars that look *that* similar.

definitely never seen one that looked like mine.. on the boards, or on the road.

in any case... i think more people should do e36 skirts just to PISS JORDAN OFF. if i didnt have bigger 'n better plans, i'd do it to my car.

I'd do it just to pis him off if they didn't look so :D

J/K Jordan. Actually, they look good, but I think they would look like ass on a convertible. Stock or M-Tech is the only way to go on a drop top. At least on mine.

tobybmw had a set for sale, and SlammedE30, I think they are in the $800 range for 4. Not sure if they are still available.
