Deleted Door Mouldings?

What do you guys think of deleted door mouldings?

What is the best way to delete them?

My car will be getting a repaired of all the defects and i need door mouldings but i kinda like the look of them deleted and the plus side is that i will save a few bucks. :P

Here is a picture of what i am looking to do. (I hope you dont mind Jordan)

BTW how do you lock and unlock your doors?

Im assuming Keyless entry wich i am sure is on order if u dont have it already. :P

remove the side moldings, fill the channel with a fat thick bead of weld, grind flush, fill small imperfections with plastic filler, prime, paint.

Look to spend at least 1k for the work.

I like it but is too much work and money. If you've got the money then do it.

yeah, this was talked about before.

it would cost was too fucking much. Jordan described it in much detail and it sounded like a muck-nasty job to do. Only he probably has the effort to pull it off. :up:

Of course cuz i dont have a welding machine, plastic filler, primer and paint nor a grinder either. :P
