Deleting trunk antenna

What do you guys think of deleting the trunk antenna? :idea: Don't ever use mine, since all I listen to are CDs. Not going to do anything else like add M3 antenna. Can someone photoshop to to see what it would look like?

i did it , all you need to do is weld on a square piece of metal then body fill and sand till smooth thats how i did it

Yeah, I am contemplating it since car will be getting painted soon. Got my buddy with the welder, we will have it looking good in no time.

i love it, but don't trust myself to do that. I just unplugged mine so it stays down all the time. The damn thing was like 5 ft. tall, no joke.

i shaved mine especially cause it was leaking but i shaved it and converted it to the m3 antenna

My car will also be losing the antenna, maybe in a month or so.

What M3 antenna are you guys speaking of? When I have all the body work done on my car, I plan on removing the antenna and filling the hole in. The antenna's on cabrios look like ass. The only problem I have is my car doesn't have anywhere else to put an antenna. I've been looking for a wire antenna that can be run on the inside of the windshield, out of sight (kinda like the newer cars with antenna's built into the windshield.

the M3 antenna is on the roof, no go for you.

I will be shaving mine when the car goes into the bodyshop. I never use it anyway. I wont be getting the M3 one.
