    Window trim removal help...

Okay, I'm trying to remove piece 'E' in Jordan's writeup here. http://www.r3vlimited.com/tech/windo...windowtrim.htm

I took the mirror off, and tried prying the trim up off the door... it didn't budge. All I've managed to do is scratch up my trim, and break a few plastic puddy knives, since a flathead and cloth was only damaging my trim. What's the secret? It simply will not move. I'm afraid if I use any more force I'll start bending the trim piece, and scratching the paint on my door.

1st put down tape...painters blue tape.

all the paint is taped up...good.
now, get some nylon pry sticks or trim removal tools from harbor frieght for 3-5 bucks...thats the 'trick' i guess

take your time, and i did mine a year ago, started at the door handle side and slowly, evenly worked towards the front. took a while, but i got it evenly up maybe half inch before it began letting go of its hold..

never pull up on the trim that was released 1st, just keep using the tools to prevent bends.
and if you need trim, i may be removing all of mine on red, b/c racecar.

Thanks! Will try that method on the drivers side. Got the passenger side off, and, well, I need a new trim piece, lol. If you're selling yours, pics, price shipped to 08073? Looking for a polished (not shadowlined) one for a coupe.
