Kewl idea. Think this is what I've been looking for. Time to bust out the multiple color electrical tape

Its been done before. Like others said. But on mine i went chrome cause i like shiny things....

I used aluminum heat tape, I know it's cheap way of doing it. But gave me a general idea of what it would look like if there was chrome trim round the grill.

The chrome trim looks pimp. My 6 has chrome around the grilles, and it looks clean. Especially on a euro, it makes the front complete. The res is no good because it is broken up by the kidneys. The chrome just fits.
