Black side mirrors on a Red car?

I was wondering what you guys' opinions were on body color vs. black side mirrors.

I was looking at the photoshop contest, and Chris's submission with a red lowered E30 with black mirrors. It intrigued me.

I remember e9nine's black mirrors that looked good. And it would go with a lot of ours taste for the red/black combo. Whatchathink?

meh..... it looked attractive from the side, or an angle......but without the windows beside the mirror......it doesn't look so. From head on, it's :?

Maybe black bottom and red mirror portions would look nice.
