Template for factory wing installation: does it really exist?

    Hey guys,
I've got an IS wing I'd like to install on my 325i. After doing some research, I found a bunch of threads where people mention a template being available from BMW. I paid one dealership a visit today and called two more, and none of them had any clue what I was asking for. Looking more carefully, a lot of people say "BMW has one," but not "BMW has one that I bought and used." So my question is: does this template really exist?? Has anyone actually bought one and used it? If so, does anybody have a part number that I can give to the parts counter so they can actually find this thing for me? Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the link...I guess I should've specified the wing is for the rear decklid; it's not a front spoiler (that was the only write-up/info I could find on his site). I did e-mail him asking him about his wing install tho, so hopefully that'll help...

None of the dealerships I talked to in the San Diego area had any idea what I was talking about.

I'm looking at the installation instructions for m-tech 1 & 2 wings and neither mention a template. It actually says to put masking tape(30mm wide) across the whole width of the trunklid a certain distance from the bottom edge of the trunk. Then it specifies distance in mm from the trunk centerline outwards, and then upwards from the bottom edge, where to mark and drill the holes. Not too hard I guess but you'd definitely have to take your time.

I'll take measurements this weekend at home were I have a spare trunklid with holes already predrilled.
