    88 diving boards on a 89+

can it be done? i found some older guy that has agreed to swap his 89 plastic bumpers (full swap) with my 88 diving boards plus 100$. So I know I can put the plastic bumpers on my car, but am I going to be able to put the diving boards on his?

For anyone who cares.to know the swap went well. About 20 holes had.to be drilled to make the diving board plastics fit. But it worked... but i would say probably only with the 1988 diving board stuff because i tjink any older and something is shorter in the wheel arch area

^ You're not understanding what he did here...

Perry you're right, only the 88 stuff would work and fit correctly on a late model.

              Nice score!

yeah thanks I thought it was a pretty sweet deal, and 20 maybe a little exagerated but honestly by only +/- 5 holes lol. it was for the upper trim pieces on the front and back. super excited, I need to add this to my build thread. the car is coming along great. Ive got the bbs style 5s, the s50... last thing I really wanted was these bumpers, because the car is going calypso and I dont like the db's on that color.
