    mtecII kit

how much would one expect to pay for an original MtecII kit? and how much would you pay for a replica that fits properly?

    #2
I'm not sure how much he wants for it, but Jon Blacklaws in the UK has a full original M-tech II kit for sale. His email is bmwe30partssw@hotmail.com

I'm not sure if his kit is for a 2 or 4 door though.

Check out the thread about shipping a pallet of parts over from there.

I've seen replicas on Ebay for $800.

Greg Lavigne (M-technic-3) has a full, OEM set in Delphin Grey for sale. Shipping? THATS another, large $ question. And of course painting it would be a bitch too.
        Reminiscing...

Replicas are a bitch to have installed....and never fit right. Jordan will most likely repeat this idea. He is definately anti-Replica (as should everyone else I gather)

Shipping overseas is a pain (and that's where someone you know who airlifts it over when they travel comes in handy! ;) )

Talk to Greg (M-technik-3) he's your best bet.

I have tenatively sold both of my M-tech II kits one was a 4 door and one was a 2 door model.

I might get a few more complete kits soon. Local pick ups are running for $1G but is the whole kit with mounting hardware.

The last name is spelled LeVangie, my mom side of the family is spelled LaVigne.

                    heh

how much would shipping be? and I'm not talking about the replicas currently avaliable... I have a contact that manufactures replica kits for supras and other upper-end japanese cars, and the supra kits they've made have fit perfectly although the fiberglass kit needs to be prepped properly(like any fg kit) else you won't get a smooth surface.

I'm just wondering how much ppl would be willing to pay for a WELL FITTING replica. of course we would be testing the fittment and adjusting things for the fit on our side first before production begins.

BTW, for the mtecII kit, how does the front spoiler mount? I have an 87 325, do I need to do the plastic bumper swap first? or will the mtec kit bolt on?

M-tech I will bolt onto an 87, M-tech II will not.

Just cause a Supra replica is good doesn't mean the M-tech II replicas out there fit...

Doesnt the Mtech1 kit require Euro bumpers?
