e36 M3 lower rear bumper, e30 plastic bumper

    Indeed

I bought a used e36 M3 rear bumper last weekend, got it SO CHEAP I just couldn't pass on it. Besides, whats a little more added to my monthly minimum on the CC 8)

Anyways, I bought the bumper without taking any measurements, or anything of the sort. I just did a photoshop (see my sig) and I liked how it looked on my car. It wasnt a question of will it fit, just how long will it take me to fit it :)

I cut the e36 M3 bumper in half horizontally at that line, leaving me with a "apron" I have about 1/2 of one side of the "apron" bonded to the e30 bumper now. I was bored tonight, so I dragged it outside, and mounted it up real quick to have a look at my work thus far. Sorry about the last 2 pics, its night time, and its raining, so the flash with the rain on the car looks really strange

Looks great! I might just have to steal that idea and give it a try on my car. Side skirts too. Add a Reiger infinity style lip to the front (if you can find one thats durable) and call it good.

SO you cut it and half horizontally but no vertical mods were needed?

                            Sold it.

JRowe, the authentic Infinity lip is the most durable one out there...
