preventing rear window scratches on cab

Everytime I put down my top, I noticed lite scratches from where the plastic touches the storage compartment. Does this happen to ya'll?

Also, is it normal for the rear window to be crumpled looking if the tops been down for awhile?

Use a towel between the layers when you put down the top.

I have always used a big beach towel.

Could be that your elastic straps need to be replaced.

Could be that your elastic straps need to be replaced. There's one on each side. The top should clear the plastic in the back, when it's not clearing, worn elastic straps is one of the possible reasons.

Do you have a power top? Have you dyed your top?

Yeah, my power top is no longer functional. My elastic strips are worn also.
