      I have 3 shocks that are drilled and compressed, im not sure what I did with the 4th. PM me if you want them

            Cut the whole back of the shock off with sawzall. weld the inner to the outer and drill 2 holes on the bottom of the bumper to reinstall the bumper to shock bolts. My race car has taken many hits with this treatment and always been fine. Just pushing them in doesn't give them a solid mount to the frame. which is just as bad as not having them to begin with.
