Chris thinks his Dad bought one. When I was looking they were 380 Euros and the dollar was strong at the time so we could have gotten one for $310 ish.Originally posted by OOMPH!Yeah, awhile ago I suggested that we get a group of people from the forum to all chip in and buy one. We all take turns using it, then we put it on ebay and try to get whatever money we put in back. Shit, how much they go for, $700? If we get a nice sized group on here each person wouldn't have to put that much up. Plus a lot of us that live close to one another could knock theirs out together and pass it along faster. So what does everyone think about this idea?Originally posted by M-technik-3Where was all this interest, when I suggested a rental unit 9 months ago.Comment

Is that it's a crude way. The tool allows you to flair with differant pressure and more precision because it bolts to your wheel hub.Originally posted by Robcoulda woulda shoulda, sucks for us i guess.

Well once/when it arrives, I've heard rumors that VSR will offer it as a service. So all the locals can take solace in that. ;)Originally posted by M-technik-3Hate to say it you should have never mentioned it then Chris. Guess I'll be looking into getting one. I haven't talked to UUC but I did email Tirerack and they said they no longer rent the tool. Greg, if you do end up getting one, I call dibs before you end up like the rest and stop renting it.Comment

Check with the Tire Rack. Last time I checked, they rent the tool out for like $70 or something like that with a $300 deposit. You can verify that information online at www.tirerack.com
Hope this helpsComment

Hey Greg, would you be interested in going in on one with Me and Amirani? We could meet up one weekend and do all of ours together.......And can this tool produce these results? It looks like the guy cut the inner lip of the fender out, and flaired the flat edge out.........typical German tradition :POriginally posted by M-technik-3Hate to say it you should have never mentioned it then Chris.
