I've got a 500k picture of my finished valve cover. If anyone wants to host it for me or wants a copy, email me.

Easy-off oven cleaner will also take off anything that is on the valvecover/intake. It will also strip anodizing off of aluminum if you need to do that also. Make sure it is the origonal in a yellow can. That is the only stuff I have found that works. Everything else doesn't strip it as easilly.

I had mine bead blasted and powdercoated. Choose your color, and it will hold to the heat

Damn I need to take a more recent photo..That engine bay looks like crap, that was year ago.
          Edit: Much Better

Robert, very pretty engine bay. Not usually a big fan of color under the hood but that is very tasteful.

Not to hijack, but thanks..That is all the color you will ever see under there. I almost did the intake but decided to just clean it up instead.

it will smoothen out a bit once it dries and as heat cures it. I did this with spray can after I hot tanked the intake/valve cover and then bead blasted it. the polished aluminum fins and lettering I did after sand blasting and before the paint.

Why did you post this in a 7 year old thread?
