Does anyone know the name of that microfiber that can absorb and insane amount of water for drying your car? I saw it last year and I can't find it now after searching online.

Griot's makes one that works awesome. It's the size of a small bath towel and you can dry your whole car and then some with it. They are like $20 or so.Comment

I like synthetic chamois, they come in a tube and last literally forever. They absorb way more water than a towel too, i think it's called "the absorber".
Microfiber towels are nice for polishing but as soon as any dirt gets in them they're trash. The chamois can easily be washed, either by hand or washing machine.Comment

There it is! The waffle style. I saw that a while ago at a detail shop and I lost the info on it. Thanks Mitchlikesbikes. I use a chamois now but I'm ttired of wringing it out so often. The microfiber waffle style holds so much more water. Thanks for all the replies.

I have 2 of the absorbers. I'm tired of wringing them out a half dozen times while I'm drying and it leaves micro dot water spots behind and then I have to go over the car again with a damp cloth to get the dried water spots off and then hit it with a dry towel. I have seen the waffle style microfiber towels in action and it is more beneficial T thanany chamois style cloth out there. Plus, it dries your glass, streak free.
