alright guys i just want opinons oon what i should do with my valve cover and intake manifold, i am getting them powder coated, and its going to be in black, but i don;t know which type of finish i should get...and of course the ribs sanded back to silver. i get powder coating stupid cheap so i may play around and if i don't like it i'll sell the parts.

That would be Eurospeed88's (Josh's) former M20 engine.

                I also say krinkle krinkle.

I lost my license because at the time of the accident, I had no current insurace. My curreny policy had just expired, and I was going in to start a new one on Friday of that week.

I fractured my sternum and nearly broke my collar bone. I was unable to sit, lay down, or get even get up on my own for nearly two months. The other car looked 10 times worse than mine. Amazingly, the girl was not hurt at all, just very shaken up.

Simple, just clean it well. I wonder how well the clear coat retains heat? I would rather have it ugly and shed heat to keep the intake air cool than to be cool and have detonation issues.

I don't think that paint on the intake is really going to effect the radiation of heat, which is mostly infrared. that said, I like the intake to be natural aluminum color with a black painted valve cover.

                              I'm with Greg.

As good as those painted covers etc look, I think it's best to scour the bits 'n' pieces, make 'em nice 'n' clean like they were in the showroom many years ago - and leave it at that.
