You need to get the cheap, 10lb CAN of peanut butter with all the oil on the top. Follow that with some great grape ;)

Actually the second shot was right after I bumped into it with my shorts, if that is what you are talking about. This is a also a messy process if you aren't careful

So everyone that was blessed with metal bumpers, I decided to try the little "peanut butter" experiment.

This is what I did:

1) Clean all black parts on the bumper with soap water and armor all

2) Label 4 section:
A) Armor All only
B) 5 minute peanut butter
C) 10 minute peanut butter
D) 20 minute peanut butter

3) Apply thick, even peanut butter too all sections for count down

4) Watch and wait for each time interval to expire

5) Wipe off throughly

6) Record results

CONCLUSIONS:
I have concluded that the peanut butter is not very effective on the bumpers. Although there are slight changes throughout the different time intervals it really isn't too noticeable.

A) Armor All Only: Faded completely back after 5 minutes

B) 5 minute peanut butter: This did get the bumper more glossy and black but faded back to about 90% of what it started with

C) 10 minute peanut butter: The 10 minute interval is were the naked eye could tell there was a good amount of difference. It came out more black and appeared to be glossy. This returned to around 70% fade of what it started with

D) 20 minute peanut butter: The 20 minute interval was the most improved by far. The bumper turned black again and was glossy. After watching all intervals fade back, this one faded back to about 50% of what it started out to be.

Conclusions: Really, to tell you the truth, its not worth it. Use the peanut butter for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the kids or the wife/buddies. There are variables that can be address, such as the time and thickness of the peanut butter, most valuable variable though, I believe, is the time. There wasn't enough change to warrant the gas money, peanut butter money, towel money.

Next time, I will try the 30-60 minute interval with the same thickness. I am also going to try the Forever Black, which I have downstairs.

I will comment tomorrow after it has had time to settle and see if it makes a difference.

The 20min picture is obviously the picture of the 20 minute interval. As you can see there is a difference between what had PB on it and what didn't. The other interval pics didn't come out, still haven't purchased a good camera so these are phone pictures.
