You would either have to have a gap filled at the top and the bumper would stick out or do what jordan did and custom craft the whole thing. I wouldnt risk pratcing something like that on a real Mtec2 kit.
    Im now E30less.

I'm not very good at english, if you can find me illustrations or something like that, it would be better.

      Thank you, Ryan

        Genuine M-Technic II kit = NO FIT 84-87 e30.

        Plain and simple enough?

Expect to pay at least $1500 getting the rear bumper, apron and side panels modified.

        Not worth it.

I've only ever seen one in the flesh, but it looked so badass it wasn't funny. Awesome job though, which is probably what made or broke it.

          edit: spelling

That is a very nice example.

The sides at the quarter panels are about impossible to fit. I've see it done where the wheel well was modified to fit the kit and also where the kit was modified to fit the wheel well. Not worth it in my opinion.

Not woth the time and money. A guy nammed AndreNY did it on bimmerforums.com ....But i bet he spent at least 3k in body work. The kit was basically "molded" on.

Good examples cause nothing is impossible it just takes a whole lot of $$$$$.

If I was to spend that much cash I would not own a white car though, yuck to bland. The red has depth, white makes it look flat and monochromatic. Boring.

uh, why did he do through all that work fitting an mtech II kit and then use a plain plastic front bumper that doesn't match the kit at all?

                        looks alright otherwise..

You can easily tell that is NOT an O.E. M-tech kit no matter what anyone says. Notice the front and rear fender side panels are part of the side skirts. In the rear M-Tech II kit, the door and fender panels are all seperate pieces. The kit pictured is *basically* plug and play because it was made to fit the higher rear fender arches of the early e30s. I dont think it fits well at all. Jordan can back me up on that one.

EDIT: I am in the process of installing O.E. BMW M-technic II side fender and door panels with Rieger Infinity I sideskirts. Let me tell you, it IS NOT fun. I'm having to modify the rear fender panel on each side, then I am altering the sideskirts to flow correctly with the fender/door panels with no gaps.

99% of the made-to fit kits will have some issues here and there.
Even the added on kits have issues. Eric Lukas' car is not 100% like factory......

I believe he bought the car like that and didn't fit it on himself. It was a bone stock eta but he has done some worthy mods to the motor.

I prefer Adam's Aussie Mtech over most of the others out there....
