That is Adams car. Its a knockoff but it does look good. I have seen bigger pics and it lookes pretty authentic. The only thing I noticed was the front lower being wider and a slight ripple in the door part of the skirt.

Also for some reason they have some really good Alpina replicas there. He might have gotten real ones but he showed me a pic of his car that he said included fake ALpina 16" and they look identical. Laws must be different about patents and copyrights there.
    Im now E30less.

The front lower isn't wider, he just doesn't have an M-tech2 bumper (genuine or otherwise) so the front end doesn't look right.

My kit is genuine, except that I am missing the M-tech2 bumper and my front lower is wider as well. The M-tech2 bumpers are wider than the stock plastic ones and blend in nicely with the M-tech2 lower bumper.

My Alpinas are replicas as well - made by RG (?). They look pretty genuine with twenty spokes and stuff, except the locking mechanism on the centre caps is a bit different.

i was able to fit an m tech 2 rear on my 5/87 325ic.
used shorter bumper shocks and brakets from plastic style bumpers.
did not cut nor modify anything to make it fit....

as per front, is an m tech 1, aloso used shorter shocks from plastic bumpers.
soon enough i'll have an m tech 2 spoiler to finsish the frankenburger transformation :)

Yeah I've always liked Adams car too.....is he still posting on BEN, seemed like he disappeared for a period? I thought the replica M-Tech II kits had one piece fronts. It's amazing how snug of a fit the genuine front apron is....almost stays on by itself 8)

Patents & copyrights??? What are those, never heard of 'em on this side of the world Ryan ;) Seriously though, most of the copied rims are made in Thailand, Malaysia, etc.

fporro, surely your cab has the low rear arches, the early model hardtops have higher ones. Good luck with the M-Tech II front, are you getting the side panels & skirts too? They are a major pain to install....you need a good drill and a strong heart since you'll be drilling appx 20 holes into your car on each side
