Best paint that looks like aluminium? Valve/intake paint?

Yea I used engine enamel. Make sure to use a block of wood or something.

Has anyone polished one? I was sanding down before i painted and it looked pretty wicked.

I didn't want to do black because everyone does theirs that color. I also like the subtle look of the alloy. In person, it has a nice contrast as well.
