IS Lip on a diamond black E30 - (now with pics)

Well Im about to paint my IS lip, right now its the normal flat black, but it has many scrapes and such, so Im going to be sanding it and painting it pretty soon.

Do you guys think that I should just paint it flat black, or paint it diamond black ???

On my car, the lip color isn't as noticeable as say a white e30 with black lip, so maybe flat black would be better to match the trims etc?

    EDIT:

End result... i painted it flat black :D

it depends.. on a black car it's almost impossible to tell the difference. and FYI you should use a trim or satin black, not flat black. ;)

oops i already picked up the flat black, and also some diamond black paint to paint my foglight covers.

Do you think it will be ugly if i paint it flat black?

I used a Ford Explorer's bumper trim that I found in my garage. Worked well. Not the same color but I like it.

like I said, I had it lying around and I'm not up for spending $15 bucks on SEM Trim paint right now for something that unnecessary.

I like it as it is. Much better than this:

The silver makes it more noticable and although I agree I would like black better, I have no complaints of the current color, nor is it anywhere near the top of my to-do list.

any pics of schwarz with schwarz paint, and black paint?

And do you think that the flat black will not be a good choice of color if i decide to go with a normal black?

I was hoping to get the euro trim at some point in time, but right now my plans have come to a complete halt. For the next couple of months I want to only take care of maintenance and try to save some money. We'll talk about mods more towards the end of the year.

I might still get the euro trim if I find a good deal considering it's maintenance, really, but not big in my plans.

Edit: To finish off, I wanted to buy like 3 cans of SEM Trim Paint before anyone goes off saying about how faded the euro grills are, as well as the rest of the trim around the car. Most of the trim is completely faded.

Don't know, but my car's lip hasn't been painted. Its brand new, so that might make a difference. It isnt faded and looks awesome unpainted.

paint it schwarz its stupid to paint stuff black on a schwarz car, i even did my window trim body color. although its not noticeable i think it look BETTER in body color. Leaving it black would be fine but it shouldn't be a big decision. I'd only leave it black if you can't afford to paint it schwarz. thats my take some of you others with cars that aren't black or schwarz have some sort of color scheme-i have none.

                              that's very true.

But I have euro trims on the way, and the whole 1 color theme will be ruined with the trims. That's why I thought maybe I should leave the IS lip black instead of schwarz.
