740 lip on alpine white

sorry for the night pics but i just got done and put it on. i think it looks good for $20. hell...my reiger lip cost 200 with shipping, and since ive lowered the vert, ive gotten a few cracks. the monthly bondo work was killing me. this is a great alternative for an affordable lip. hats off to CRIS for finding and sharing this.

ive always thought of stealing my cousins 740i lip. never realized how good it would look. oh well i like my is lip.

looks really good....... How do you like it?
Is the lip sticking out a bit- hard to tell with the pictures. Did you trim the part of the lip that connects to the valance (the part that screws on to the valance)????
I forgot to mention that i trimmed a little bit off that piece about 1/8 of an inch - so it's vertically flush to the valance.
But i think either way looks good.

no i didnt trim it. thought about it though. i think it looks fine. i need to re-trim the wheel well parts on the side a little more. no problem on the credit man, it was all you. thanks for sharin the info.

its off of the old boxy ones, its mounted upside down compared to how volvo mounts it. go to CRIS's thread just below mine "time to share"...

it was $20 bucks, but that yard raised its prices. CRIS got his for $12. so anywhere from 10 to 20 bucks plus paint. i trimmed the edges to sit flush with the wheel well and drilled 20 holes and zip tied it to the valence. if you take the iS lip clips off youll see the holes.

What paint did you use? Is there an off-the-shelf paint that matches Alpine White well, or did you get something custom mixed?
