You could try replacing your current badge with an E36/46 318is badge. It's a little smaller than the E30 badge, and looks more modern with the italic font. Makes the rear end more svelte imho.

    Kinda like this:

Anyone know if Acetone is okay to use on my paint to get the adhesive off? Or anything else other than WD40, that stuff is taking a while to get the pinstripe adhesive off...

      It's looking good though! 8)

Theres this spraycan that says "sticker adhesive remover" I found at Advance Auto Parts. Works like a charm. Use some polishing compound to make it look better once its off.
        Reminiscing...

Yeah, I found that Mineral Spirts do the trick. Sucks though, I was doing it tonight, and fineshed only 1/2 of the first side and it started to rain... Looks like I have something to do tomorrow.

Shouldn't a cut and polish help even it out?

Never thought about debadging, looks 100% cleaner that way ;)

Is the glue sticky or hard? could I just rub it off or use WD40 or is the glue
              kinda tough to remove?

              Any tips?

This is something I'd deffinatly do! :o

I just did the pinstripe, and yes, goto Advance Auto Parts and get a can of the Bumper Sticker/ Adhesive Remover. I've read that some of the adhesive on the logo is hard, but I think that stuff should be just as good.

I'm still iffy if I want to take it off yet. Maybe after some more modding. :D
