getting tinted this week

Local place will give me a deal for $100 with sunguard and a lifetime warranty (if they are still around in 5 years)
Sounds like any other job I've gotten so I'm not too worried.

I'm thinking of 35% to avoid cop trouble, and getting a strip along the top of the windshield. I didn't get the strip on my other car but I'm finding the sun is always in my eyes in the E30 and it's too dang hot out here in the summer.

I'm thinking I'll keep it all the same 35% although the rear would be nice darker. Front windows in CA is illegal so i figured i'd just use 35%

I put 20% all around. I like it.
35% seemed a little light for me.

Do you know how much it would be to put the strip on the windshield?

$100 is a good deal for 3 windows.

Initial quote was 135 but i have a connection.
$100 for the whole car: rear, two rear sides and front doors and strip.
I think 35% is a tad light too but those cops around here like to throw their weight around.

Then again... It's only $100 and i could always just take the fronts off for a fix it ticket... hmmmm

Your pics with the 20% tint look nice. I'll have to consider it.

I'm not a fan of tinting the front side windows if you roll the windows down much because the tint has a tendency to come unglued. Maybe that is just the quality of work that I have dealt with, though.
