I've seen a couple cars on here that color matched to weiss and it looks great IMO.

Materials are going to be pretty cheap. I don't know what BondoHair costs but overall everything should be about $50. After tax and shipping Euro Trim from Abrahms would be more like $160 and I doubt that small of an area would degrade that quickly. I've done a lot of work with fiberglass (did freelance custom car audio for 2 years, got bored, started a web design company) and I'd be more worried about paint fading.
No euro trim from tischer bmw is 100 for all four pieces, minus the rear. You are going to end up spending around 75 dollars in stuff for mock parts and with alot of left over fiberglass. BUT! if you already have these stuff laying around its worth it.

and dont forget to use plasti dip for teh trim painting, its the new thing over trim paint.

Hmm, do you know what the part numbers are for them? I seem to be having trouble finding them on Realoem.com

I could be wrong, but it seems like the first time something taps them or you pull them off for something, they will start to crack. I do agree though that if you already have the stuff lying around and want something to do it would be a fun project.

It's not worth it. My full set of Euro trim on my last car was $100 from BMA a few years ago.
So, after all day fiddling with fiberglass only to have a questionable set of bumper trim just to save $50? I don't know about you, but in the time it takes to make your own fake Euro trim, I would have made much more money at work than the cost of real Euro trim.

I completely agree, only saving $50 bux isn't going to be worth it. I have everything I need except the bondo hair stuff but I'm just gonna order the Euro Trim from Tischer BMW, I just need to find the correct part numbers off of realoem.

The great part about being an opera singer and a webdesigner is that I get to build websites in my off time and charge a great hourly rate for it! So I love to work!
