Sunroof Wind Deflectors

I used to have one on my car, ditched it, didn't like the bare look, and am getting another one. How come nobody has these on the forum? Did everyone get together and decide they are just a bad thing to have? I've heard stuff about noise but my old one didn't make any noise. Anyway, just curious to know why. (I predict about 10 "they are ugly" responses )

i kinda like mine. i dont think it improves the look of the car, but it doesnt bother me enough to take it off.

i see them on other cars and i don't like them. i like it on mine. maybe it just goes better with diamond black?

they look nasty, tend to break and don't really fit the E30 that well.

I've got one sitting in my garage at home that came on my car i believe. However it will be atleast a week before I am home again.
I don't think they look that great though. But, its up to you.

wind deflectors are a personal opinion. I dont like them as they trap dirt/leaves/other debris against the paint. I also think (could be placebo effect) they are louder than the sunroof without one.
