Are sports and comfort seat back covers interchanagble?

Hi all,

Im looking at getting a tatty pair of front sport seats and some original indigo blue material to have them professionally recovered. Would anyone know if its possible to swap the indigo blue backs from my comfort seats onto the sports seats please? 1990 coupe if that makes any difference.

yes. look at any seat rebuild. the back has to come off. i believe the seat back is the same.

so i'm completely wrong on this. i was thinking of swapping from sport seat to sport seat. the backs have different profiles between sport and comfort seats.
